File Locker security (v1.1) Argon2id key derivation (64 MiB memory-hard, 3 passes, WASM) — makes GPU/ASIC password cracking brutally expensive AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption; the whole header is tamper-bound (any modification = decryption fails) The original filename and exact size are encrypted inside the container — the .cfl file reveals nothing about its content, and the app names outputs locked-xxxx.cfl Size-bucket padding hides even the approximate content size Older v1.0 .cfl files still decrypt normally; the vault self-upgrades to Argon2id on first unlock Privacy: no account, no servers, no analytics, no internet permission needed for crypto — everything runs on-device, even in airplane mode.

FAQ Is my data uploaded anywhere? No. There is no server. Encryption, the vault and file locking all run on your device.

What happens if I forget a password? It cannot be recovered — that is the point of real encryption. The in-app tips suggest keeping passwords in the fingerprint vault.

Can the other person read my message without the app? They can open it with the app or the web version — both understand the same format.

Why does the web tool have a different name? Cipherly is the Android app of the Encrypto tool on xnipertools.com. Same format, fully compatible both ways
