About this app
Mumla is a fork and continuation of Plumble, a robust GPLv3 Mumble client for Android originally written by Andrew Comminos. It uses the the Humla protocol implementation (forked from Comminos's Jumble).
A client for the Mumble voice chat system. Host or connect to one of the many public community servers (see https://www.mumble.info). Mumla is an updated and supported version (fork) of the Plumble app.
○ Features ●
• Certificate generation, import and export. • Public server browsing • Voice activation of transmissions (default) or various Push-To-Talk buttons • Bluetooth headset support • Self Sign in to the server • Access Tokens • Support for Opus, CELT and Speex codecs • Automatic reconnection • Tor support via Orbot app • Text-to-speech conversion for messages (enabled by default) • Light and dark theme
Voice-activated transmission currently works best when using a headset. Echo suppression and noise reduction need to be worked on. Adjusting the detection threshold in the settings helps.
