What is the original app?

IrCode Finder is a powerful and versatile application for controlling devices via the IR port of your smartphone. With its help, you can replace lost or broken remote controls for a variety of devices, from TVs to Chinese chandeliers, acoustic systems and even rare models of equipment.

Huge database of remote controls: The application has one of the largest databases of IR codes, including rare and old models of devices that are not supported by other applications.

Automatic code selection: If your device is not in the database, you can use the automatic testing function to select IR codes. The application supports code enumeration for the NEC protocol, which allows you to find suitable commands to control chandeliers, fans, acoustics and other devices.

Manual creation of remote controls: You can manually create and customize remote controls by adding, deleting or moving the buttons and functions you need. This is especially useful for devices with non-standard codes or for those that are not in the database.

Support for external IR transmitters: IrCode Finder works with both built-in IR ports and external USB transmitters (Tiqiaa, ZaZa), transmitters for 3.5 Jack headphone jack, which expands the capabilities of device control.

How is this mod different?

This mod enables widgets and removes ads for enchanted convenience. It also enables completely offline operation and reduced permissions for enchanted privacy. Because the mod is completely offline the database feature is not available. This mod can be installed side by side with the original app. Remotes made in the original app can be transferred to the modified app.
