8 VPN is a lightweight Android VPN client built around the Aether core and hev-socks5-tunnel. It brings together Aether, Psiphon, and Tor routing options in one application, offering alternative connection methods, automatic reconnection, and flexible traffic control. Its clean Material 3 interface supports English and Persian, including full right-to-left layout for Persian users.

🌐 🔌 Multiple Connection Routes Choose the connection method that best fits your network:

- Aether: Supports MASQUE, WireGuard, WARP-in-MASQUE, and WARP-in-WARP. - Psiphon: Offers an alternative censorship-circumvention route with region selection. - Tor: Provides onion routing with configurable bridge options and supported pluggable transports.

Having several routes available makes it easier to try an alternative when one connection method is unavailable or unreliable. Actual performance depends on the selected route and network conditions.

🔄 ⚡ Smart Reconnection 8 VPN monitors connection health and can attempt to reconnect when the core stops, ping checks fail, or the device switches between Wi-Fi and mobile data. It can retry using a fresh scan, helping restore connectivity after common network changes.

- Full VPN mode: Route device traffic through Android's VPN service and TUN interface. - Proxy-only mode: Expose a local SOCKS5 proxy, with an optional HTTP proxy. - Split tunneling: Include only selected apps in the tunnel or exclude specific apps. - Alternative TUN engines: Use hev-socks5-tunnel by default, with tun2socks as an alternative when available.
