• Read aloud (TTS) • Choice of voiceover engine: Google, RHVoice, eSpeak, any installed. • Player on the lock screen and in the curtain. Book cover, pause, stop, sleep timer with countdown. You can stop reading without unlocking your phone. • Pauses during a call and when the headphones are turned off, continues after the call. • Honestly: the play/pause button on the headset does not always work; the phone sometimes gives it to another player. Control from notification.
• Book storage • You can read books directly from your folder without copying them inside the application. Saves memory on a large library. Switchable in settings.
• Library • Grouping by authors and series. • Alphabet ribbon on the right for quick letter jumping. Works to sort by author, title and series. • Double page spread in landscape orientation, for tablets. • Bulk selection of files during import, import directly to an open shelf.
• Fonts • Adding in batches and from a ZIP archive, rather than one at a time.
• Other • The screen no longer turns off while reading. • Covers have been compressed into WebP, the library and import have become faster. • Fixed duplicates when re-importing, security of unpacking archives, language reset when rotating the screen, footnotes and a bunch of little things.
