5G Only (Arshad Rind)

Is your internet slow even with full bars? Often the reason is that your phone keeps switching between 3G, 4G and 5G. Locking it to a single network, like 5G only or 4G only, can give you a steadier and faster connection.

5G Only takes you straight to the screen where you can do that. One tap and it opens your phone's hidden Radio Info page, so you don't have to dial codes or search through menus.

How to use 1. Open the app. The Radio Info screen opens right away. 2. Tap "Set preferred network type". 3. Choose your mode: - 5G only: select "NR only" - 4G only: select "LTE only" - 5G + 4G (auto): select "NR/LTE"

Why you'll like it - 100% ad-free - Android 16 supported - Fast: opens instantly, no loading - Smooth and lightweight, with nothing running in the background - No internet permission, so nothing is collected or shared - Clean, simple design - Works on Android 7.0 and above, tested on multiple devices

Good to know The app doesn't change your network by itself. It only opens your phone's own settings screen. Speed depends on your area, your SIM and your network provider, so try both 5G only and 4G only and keep whichever works better for you. The exact option names can vary slightly between phones, and "NR only" appears only on 5G-capable phones and SIMs. Some phones and manufacturer versions hide or block the Radio Info screen. On those devices, the app opens the regular network settings instead.
