Inugram

This fork is primarily intended for long-term Telegram users who want a clean and robust experience without the bloat.

You can expect:

- Removed annoyances - Many quality-of-life features - UI tweaks for a cleaner and more polished look - Opinionated defaults

All while still allowing users to disable custom tweaks to achieve the stock experience (but why?).

Patchset, not a fork

Unlike most alternative clients based on Telegram Android, Inugram is a patchset. It is not a fork in the traditional sense, but rather a collection of patches applied to the stock codebase.

Advantages of this approach:

- Easier rebase — stock code and fork code are clearly separated - Easier to audit changes — modifications are all in one place - Easier for bugfixes to land upstream (though they probably don't care)

The patchset is managed using stgit and supporting scripts in scripts/.
