Google’s Find Hub features

See devices on a map, even when they are offline Google’s Find Hub shows your phone, tablet, headphones, and other compatible accessories on a map for quick awareness. When a device is offline, the Find Hub network helps update its location privately so you can view the last known spot. This makes it easier to understand where to start looking, whether the device is nearby or not.

Play a sound to find items nearby You can play a sound from the app to locate a nearby device fast. The tone helps guide you as you move, which is useful when a phone is under a cushion or earbuds are in another room. This action also works from supported Wear OS watches, so you can ring items from your wrist.

Lock or erase a lost device with a custom message When a device is missing, Google’s Find Hub lets you remotely lock it so data stays protected. You can add a custom lock screen message with contact details, which helps anyone who finds the device know how to reach you. If recovery is not possible, you can erase the device to remove personal information.

Share live location for meetups and check-ins Google’s Find Hub also supports live location sharing with friends and family. You can share for a set period to coordinate arrivals or confirm safe check-ins. This keeps everyone informed without needing separate services.

Private by design with encrypted data Privacy is built in across the Find Hub network. All network location data is encrypted and not visible to Google. Data is also encrypted in transit, which helps protect information as it moves between devices.
