About this app

This is a community continuation of Lotus by dn0ne, who built the original app. All design, branding, and prior work are theirs — huge thanks. Upstream is no longer actively maintained, so this fork picks up bug fixes, stability work, and small features while keeping the app true to its original spirit.

・Upstream repository: https://github.com/dn0ne/lotus ・Upstream license: GPLv3 (preserved) ・Application ID: com.dn0ne.lotus.community (so it can coexist with the upstream build if you already have it installed) If you are the original author and would prefer any change here, please open an issue — we'll respect your wishes.

Features ・Enjoy your favorite music in a variety of formats, including MP3, FLAC, OGG, WAV, and more ・Easily browse tracks, albums, artists, and genres, and create custom playlists ・Enhance your listening experience with synchronized lyrics from LRCLIB ・Manually update track details or fetch accurate info from MusicBrainz ・Designed with Material You and supports dynamic color palettes

What's new

v1.9.2-communityOct 7, 2026
  • ReplayGain: tracks can now play at a consistent loudness. Shuffle now actually uses the order Lotus picks, which it hadn't since 1.5.9.
  • ▼ Added ・ReplayGain. Settings → Playback → ReplayGain evens out loudness between tracks, by Track or by Album, from the tags your files already carry (FLAC, MP3, M4A, and the R128 tags in Opus). Lotus reads tags rather than measuring, so tag your library first with a tool such as rsgain. Peak tags keep a boost from clipping, and untagged files get their own level. Off by default. (#122)
  • ▼ Fixed ・Shuffle and Smart shuffle never used their own order, from 1.5.9 until now. We owe you a plain account of this one. Lotus worked out a shuffle order every time you turned shuffle on, then tried to pass it to the player by a route that never worked, so the order was quietly thrown away. Both modes played the same default shuffle, so the Smart shuffle improvements described in 1.7.1 and 1.9.0 never reached your ears. The order now goes to the player, and a new order is worked out when you start a different playlist with shuffle on. This is the first release where Smart shuffle actually behaves as described.
