🎵 Pixel Music — Hybrid Local & Streaming Music Player

Pixel Music is a feature-rich Android music player that combines local playback, online streaming and personal cloud sources in a single Material 3 interface.

It can bring local music, YouTube Music, Telegram and Google Drive sources together while providing advanced playback, lyrics, equalization and Android ecosystem integration.

🎧 Local Music

Scan and play high-resolution local audio files including:

• FLAC • ALAC • WAV • APE • OPUS • OGG • MP3

The playback engine is based on Media3 ExoPlayer with FFmpeg decoding and includes a customizable 10-band equalizer, bass boost, spatial audio processing and EBU R128 loudness normalization.

🌐 Streaming & Cloud Sources

Pixel Music supports several media sources:

• YouTube Music • Telegram channels, chats and saved messages • Google Drive personal libraries • Local device storage

The app can synchronize supported YouTube Music library information and stream audio from Telegram sources connected by the user.

🎤 Lyrics

The integrated lyrics system supports:

• Synchronized LRC lyrics • Millisecond timing adjustments • Offline lyrics caching • Live translation

Lyrics can be synchronized precisely and retained locally for later playback.

🤖 Smart Features

Pixel Music includes optional AI-powered playlist generation using supported models such as Gemini, DeepSeek and OpenAI.

Last.fm integration provides Smart Mix functionality with multiple discovery modes.

🎨 Modern Android Experience

The interface uses Material 3 / Material You with dynamic colors derived from album artwork.

📱 Requirements

Pixel Music requires Android 11 (API 30) or newer.

The project is derived from PixelPlayerOSS and publishes its corresponding source code. Third-party components retain their own licenses. Notable bundled components include Jellyfin's FFmpeg decoder under GPL-3.0, while many AndroidX and other dependencies use Apache-2.0, MIT, LGPL or BSD-family licenses.
