Realme UI features distinct system scanning tools for documents, QR codes, and system viruses.

1. AI Doc Scanner (Document to PDF)

Recent realme UI builds (including realme UI 6.0 and 7.0) feature a built-in AI Text Scanner directly in the stock camera application. It automatically crops, straightens, and sharpens text.

How to use it:

Open your built-in Camera app.

Swipe over to More on the shooting mode ribbon.

Tap Doc scanner (or Text Scanner).

Align your page inside the yellow box layout and take a photo.

Tap Enhance to apply a high-contrast Black & White filter, then select Save as PDF.

2. QR Code Scanner Shortcuts

While realme devices lack a standalone "QR Scanner" app icon in the app drawer, the scanner is integrated directly into the OS user interface:

Quick Settings Tile: Swipe down twice from the top edge of your screen to open your Control Center. Tap the QR Code Scanner tile to fire up the system reader. If it's missing, tap the edit (pencil) icon in the Control Center to drag the tile up into your active toggles.

Camera Lens Integration: Open the default Camera App and tap the small Google Lens square icon located right next to the shutter button. Point it at any QR code to load the link instantly.

Double-Tap Back Gesture (NEXT AI): On compatible models (like the realme 12 series and newer), go to Settings > Special Features > Smart Sensing and toggle on Double-tap to scan. Simply double-tap the back panel of your phone while aiming at a code to read it instantly.
