External Display Rotation & Layout Editor Upgrades This version refactors the ROM list, adds rotation for the external display, and introduces new layout editing features for fine-grained control. ROM List & External Display Improvements Total play time is now shown in the ROM config screen. The option to “Show ROM filename” has been removed, filenames are now always displayed as subtitles under ROM titles. Added option to rotate the external display to the left, useful for vertical/portrait mounting of displays. Achievements are no longer shown on the external display while browsing ROMs. Layout Editor Enhancements New Aspect Ratio Options per screen: Choose between 4:3, 16:9, or Unrestricted Aspect ratio is preserved when resizing screen components Split the "Center Screen" button into two: Center Horizontally Center Vertically UI updated for clarity in aspect ratio and positioning controls Tested successfully on the Ayaneo Pocket DS and Ayaneo Pocket ACE with Retroid Dual Screen Add-on. Performance on older devices, specially 32 bit devices, is very poor due to the lack of JIT support. Integration with third-party frontends It's possible to launch melonDS from third part frontends. For that, you will need to have the ROMs you want to launch already scanned by melonDS. Then, you can configure your third-party frontend with the following configuration: Package name: me.magnum.melonds Activity name: me.magnum.melonds.ui.emulator.EmulatorActivity Parameters (choose one): uri (preferred) - a string with the SAF URI of the NDS ROM (ZIP files are supported) PATH - a string with the absolute path to the NDS ROM (ZIP files are supported)
