About this app
Free app for Android TV / Google TV that lets you open a launcher recommendation directly in Nuvio or Stremio, instead of whatever the launcher would normally push.
Features Detects recommendation clicks on the Google TV launcher via an Accessibility Service Identifies the title via TheTVDB (default, no setup) or TMDB (optional, your own free API key) "Watch now in {App}" confirm button before opening anything - an accidental click never redirects you Manual title search for cards the launcher doesn't expose a title for Phone pairing (QR code) to type your TMDB key on your phone instead of the TV remote - tested end-to-end Limitations Fire TV is not supported. Tested on a real Fire TV Stick; recommendation clicks never reach TVRelay's detection at all, most likely because Amazon's newly-redesigned Fire TV home screen doesn't expose standard Android accessibility events to third-party apps. TVRelay is Google TV only. Some recommendation rows (personalized/algorithmic ones in particular) don't expose their title to accessibility tools at all - use Settings → Search for a title manually as a workaround. The metadata provider's search can occasionally match a same-named but different title.
What's new
Added Moonfin support as a new player option - a third Jellyfin-server client. Unlike Jellyfin/Wholphin it has no search screen at all, so it only works once "Find in library first" is set up. Long press only option for the confirm overlay (Settings → Confirmation Overlay) - require holding the button to open the app, so a short press just dismisses it instead. Hide alternate-title (aka) matches option, for when a search turns up an unrelated movie/show that just happens to share an English title with something else (English-only for now). Nuvio: also recognizes its unofficial "Lite" build (com.nuvio.tv.lite), alongside the two official packages already supported. Fixed Fixed recommendation cards not being detected on non-English system TV languages (e.g. Danish) - detection no longer depends on hardcoded English/Spanish marker text; other languages should now work for the common card shapes, though some marker text (subscription/price labels, YouTube cards) is still English/Spanish-only until confirmed for each language. Movies/shows with common or reused names (e.g. several different films sharing one title) were sometimes filtered out of the match list entirely. Corrected an on-screen text recognition (OCR) mistake where a "k" was sometimes read as an "l" in a title. Fixed the screen-reading fallback sometimes jumping back to TVRelay app the first time it ran. Fixed clicking the navigation bar unintentionally triggering the screen-reading fallback. Improved help text
