FolderSync makes it easy to sync files between cloud storage and Android devices.

FolderSync provides easy synchronization with cloud storage and local folders on device SD cards. It supports a wide range of different cloud providers and file protocols, with support for more platforms being added all the time. Access to root files is supported on rooted devices.

Sync files effortlessly. Back up music, pictures and other important files from your phone to cloud storage and vice versa. It's never been this easy. Automation support with Tasker and similar programs provides granular control over synchronization.

FolderSync includes a full-fledged file manager that allows you to manage files locally and in the cloud. Copy, move and delete files in your cloud/remote accounts. Support for creating/deleting buckets in Amazon S3. Uploading and downloading files from your phone. All this is supported.

Permissions:

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION An optional permission that can be granted if Foldersync needs to discover the SSID on Android 9 or later.

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Required to determine the current state of the network

ACCESS_WIFI_STATE Required to access information about the current WiFi status (SSID, etc.)

CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE/CHANGE_WIFI_STATE These two settings are required to turn WiFi on and off

CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE Required for automatic discovery of WebDAV, SMB, FTP and SFTP servers using the Bonjour/UPNP protocol

INTERNET Required to access an internet connection to send and retrieve files

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE Required to read and write files to and from the SD card

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED Required to automatically start after device reboot so that scheduled synchronizations will still occur

WAKE_LOCK Required to keep the device running during synchronization so that it does not go into sleep mode
