Animeko is an all-in-one danmaku (comment overlay) platform for discovering, following, and watching anime. It supports cloud bookmark synchronization (Bangumi), offline caching, BitTorrent, and cloud-based danmaku filtering. Built 100% with Kotlin/Compose Multiplatform.

For developers: Animeko is built on Kotlin Multiplatform architecture, uses Compose Multiplatform for UI, features a custom libtorrent-based BitTorrent engine optimized for streaming, a high-performance danmaku engine, and multi-format video player (ExoPlayer on Android, VLC on PC).

Note on media sources: All video data comes from public networks (BitTorrent P2P and online video sources). Animeko itself does not host any video content. When using BitTorrent sources, Animeko automatically seeds (shares data) as a courtesy to the community.
