Janus

Janus is an LSPosed module for Xiaomi phones with a rear screen, designed to enhance the rear screen experience. By hooking into com.xiaomi.subscreencenter, it bypasses various system restrictions on the rear screen.

- Music Whitelist Unlock — Removes rear screen music app whitelist restrictions; manage the whitelist per app. - Live Wallpaper Anti-Interrupt — Prevents live wallpapers from pausing or resetting when the rear screen is covered; keeps the wallpaper playing continuously. - Lock Wallpaper Switching — Blocks the long-press gesture on the rear screen wallpaper to prevent accidental changes. - Custom Rear Wallpaper Video — Replaces the AI-generated wallpaper video with your own, with loop playback toggle and backup/restore options. - Rear Screen DPI Adjustment — Customizes rear screen display density for a better small-screen experience. - Rear Screen Keep Alive — Uses a foreground service to periodically send key events and prevent auto-sleep. - Screen Casting Settings — Controls screen casting rotation and keeps the rear screen on during casting. - Telemetry Blocking — Intercepts DailyTrackReceiver to block data reporting. - Quick Switch — Adds a quick settings tile for one-tap casting to the rear screen. - Hide Launcher Icon — Hides the app icon from the launcher; open via the LSPosed module manager.

Prerequisites

1. Device must have an unlocked bootloader and root access. 2. Install the LSPosed framework. 3. Enable the Janus module in LSPosed and select com.xiaomi.subscreencenter as the scope. 4. Open the Janus app and configure features as needed. 5. Restart the scope or reboot the device for the hooks to take effect.

ℹ️ Note

Keep alive, DPI adjustment, task migration, and other features require root access.
