OwnApps

A fully offline Android app manager. Browse your installed apps, pin favourites to the top, and disable or enable any app with a switch. No internet, no screen-time tracking, no analytics.

Features

Requirements

- Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer - A Shizuku-family backend running, such as Shizuku over ADB or root, or Sui on rooted devices - Browsing works without Shizuku; disabling apps and the firewall require it

Setup

1. Install and start a Shizuku-family backend on your device. 2. Open OwnApps, go to Settings, and grant Shizuku permission once. 3. In the app list, flick any switch to disable that app.

Optional: UI Hider

1. Tap the UI Hider icon in the top bar of the app list. 2. Turn on the accessibility service when Android asks. 3. Tap Pick an element with the Node Picker, open the app you want to change, then tap the Node Picker active notification. 4. Tap the element you want to hide. It is highlighted. 5. Tap Copy to copy a selector such as id:com.whatsapp:id/status_list. 6. In UI Hider, create a script for that app and paste the selector.

The find function also supports text=, desc=, and path=. Turn on the script to hide the element while the app is open.
