🔧 MicroG RE — GmsCore Redesign for Morphe

MicroG RE is a free and open-source Android implementation of Google Play Services, based on the microG GmsCore project and redesigned for use with Morphe-patched applications.

🧩 Google Services Replacement

MicroG RE provides an alternative framework for applications that expect Google Play Services to be available.

It can provide compatible implementations of Google APIs and services without requiring the official Google Play Services package, making it useful on Android systems where Google Play Services is unavailable or intentionally not installed.

The project is specifically maintained as a GmsCore fork for Morphe-patched applications.

📦 Release Variants

The project provides several APK variants:

• ARM32-v7a APK (Icon) • ARM64-v8a APK (Icon) • ARM32-v7a APK (No Icon) • ARM64-v8a APK (No Icon)

The no-icon variant keeps the same functionality while hiding the MicroG icon from the launcher. The ARM64 build contains only the ARM64 architecture and is smaller than the universal package.

📱 Android Integration

MicroG RE is designed to work as a system-level service framework and can provide required Google-service APIs to compatible applications.

Its usefulness depends on the application being patched or configured to work with microG-compatible services.

🔐 Open Source

MicroG RE is based on the Free/Libre and Open Source microG ecosystem. Its source code is publicly available and the project includes the original microG licensing and attribution information.
