# What G-Droid can NOT (yet) do compared to F-Droid

# Show or install an older version of the app • Create a local repository, share apps with people nearby, share apps via Bluetooth • Add other repositories than the F-Droid repository • Use a privileged extension (made but not yet configured), but G-Droid can use root rights on root devices to provide automatic installation • Automatic updates • HTTP proxy settings • G-Droid helps you find the best applications in different ways, but in some cases you may need the 'share' button to open the application in F-Droid and install it. The G-Droid is not yet a full replacement for the F-Droid app.
