This architecture allows the application to select between different connectivity methods without requiring users to configure each engine manually.

The client is built with:

DXcore provides the advanced networking functionality used by Defyx VPN. Its implementation is proprietary and closed-source, while the Defyx VPN client itself is open source.

The project is built with a cross-platform Flutter architecture and includes native VPN integration for supported platforms.

Defyx VPN combines an open-source client with the proprietary DXcore core. Therefore, the application as a whole should not be considered completely open-source.

The bundled DXcore core is proprietary and closed-source and is subject to its own terms. Xray, Psiphon, Outline and other integrated components retain their respective licenses.
