It's a nicely designed, lightweight (4MB), extremely fast, no-nonsense GPLv3 Material You 3 Expressive app. Features We provide progressive streaming, automatic caching (never re-downloads a song or album cover more than once), and optional downloads for all platforms. The main music player is intuitive and engaging—not boring like other apps. We have no tracking or bullshit. You choose whether to allow music storage permissions or per-folder access (which requires no storage permissions at all). This software is designed to respect you and your privacy. We provide instructions to build the app yourself from this repo in the build section. We closely follow Material You 3 Expressive guidelines and recommendations, with a touch of extra expressiveness to make it feel as Android-native and intentional as possible. (I'm a dev, not a designer, so feel free to create Issues for suggestions.) The APK is around 4MB, it takes about 32MB of storage once installed, it has configurable caching limits, and—most importantly—it starts instantly with no splash screen, even on slow devices.
