• 📦 Tadami — v0.59.5 This release adds Legado-style text replacement rules to the novel reader, a source-language filter for the library and global search, the upcoming-release calendar, a swipeable title carousel in source browsers, the Tokyo Night theme and markdown-rendered title descriptions — plus a large batch of book-mode, reader, extension and performance fixes.

• Text replacement rules — build your own find-and-replace rules for novel chapters: plain text or regular expressions, scoped to chapter titles, content or both. Rules can be imported and exported as JSON in Legado format and tested against a sample before applying. Path: Settings → Novel Reader → Text replacement (also in the novel reader quick settings → General) Source language filter — filter the library and global search by the languages of your sources; the library section is collapsed by default, search gets a Language chip in the toolbar, local sources are shown as Local. Path: Library → filter → Language; global search toolbar → Language chip Upcoming calendar for novels — the Updates tab now offers the upcoming-release calendar for novels too, and the fetch interval is recomputed on the manga pattern. • 🎨 Improvements
• Library performance for large collections: database indexes, filtering/sorting/grouping moved off the main thread, scroll position kept per category and display mode. Title screens open faster: TTL caches and instant preview resolution on manga, novel and anime; anime metadata refresh no longer shows a spinner. Cover loading is more robust: one retry on transient DNS/connect failures, and Aurora posters now carry the source headers (fixes 403 responses from cover proxies like wp.youtube-anime.com). Extension flows hardened: an update signed with a different key asks for a reinstall instead of silently flipping the extension to Untrusted; auto-update skips such packages and failed installs report clearly. Achievement cards get unique color palettes per theme; unobtainable rewards were removed from the treasury. The read-as-book / read-as-chapters menu and the book build dialog were reworked.

• Fixed a black or blank screen on end-of-chapter transitions in fullscreen, pager and webtoon modes. Fixed the inverted vertical navigator scrollbar and labels. Fixed "Latest chapter" sorting in the manga library (now uses the actual latest upload date). Fixed novel library duplicates caused by the many-to-many category join and series entries violating the unique constraint. Fixed the scanlator exclusion regression on novel screens and novels not recomputing their next update interval. Fixed library cards showing the raw source title instead of the user-set name in cards, search and sort. Book mode: fixed scroll jank (~15fps), premature book completion, seek-skipped read marking, chapter-jump targets, curl/seamless edge navigation, chapter-swipe double-fire skipping a chapter, relative image URLs, interrupted rebuilds deleting the old artifact, progress not flushed on stop, and unstable scrolled list state. Fixed a carousel crash when the activity stops and description expand overflow detection. Fixed invisible progress and volume indicators in the Monochrome and YinYang themes.
