It unlocks new ways to find alternative drugs that have fewer interactions, including: * Explore a list of suggested drug alternatives within the same ATC group; * Conduct independent drug searches. Mediately app offers actionable support by enabling users to make informed decisions. You can easily search through an offline drug registry and get instant access to interactive clinical tools and dosing calculators. 1. Get information on thousands of drugs. For each drug, you can view detailed info, including: - Basic information about the drug (active substance, composition, pharmaceutical form, class, insurance list); - Important info from the drug’s SmPC document (indications, posology, contraindications, interactions, side effects, overdosing, etc.); - ATC classification and parallel drugs; - Packagings and prices; - Access to the complete SmPC PDF document (needs internet connection). 2. Search through a wide array of interactive diagnostics tools. Instead, he takes out his mobile phone, clicks on the tool in the app to calculate the amoxicillin/clavulanic acid dosage, enters the patient's age and weight and receives the recommended dose. 3. Restrictions of use & ICD-10 classification According to thousands of doctors and healthcare professionals, the Mediately proved to be an invaluable assistant with patients suffering from multiple problems. They are instantly able to see usage restrictions for renal dysfunction, hepatic dysfunction, pregnancy, and breastfeeding. On-screen icons on medication indicate the severity of the limitation, with details available at a touch. In a real clinic case action this looks like this: A doctor is treating a patient with severe pain in finger joints and liver cirrhosis. Ibuprofen could be a good solution for their condition, but the doctor can’t remember at the moment if it has any limitations concerning liver disease. By tapping on the icon, additional information is displayed and they find out that ibuprofen is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic dysfunction. After gathering all information in the SmPC, they prescribe a non-steroidal antirheumatic gel. The application also includes the ICD-10 disease classification and the ATC classification system.
