About SAMSUNG WEMOGEE Talking through images: today we can. Samsung Wemogee was created with the aim of giving aphasic people the possibility to communicate again with their friends and relatives in a simple and fast way. The app has a dual function: it is a messaging system and it enables two-way communication. By translating text into emojis and vice versa, Samsung Wemogee allows an aphasic user to converse exclusively through images with a non-aphasic user, who can receive the communication in text form and answer back with words. Samsung Wemogee runs on Android OS 5.1 or higher. The app currently supports two languages, English and Italian. The English version is available worldwide. Samsung Wemogee safely protects your data and doesn’t archive the content of your conversations. It is not available for devices that have been rooted. The app needs the following permissions to run: • Telephone (mandatory): to correctly identify your device. • Camera (mandatory): to snap your profile photo. • Contacts (mandatory): to allow you to chat with your friends. • Network State (mandatory): to verify your data connection. • Storage (mandatory): to save conversations and your friends’ photos on your device. • Push notification (optional): to notify the arrival of a new message.
