Description: Obtainium allows you to install and update open source applications directly from their release pages and receive release notifications. Description: If you only use the Google Play Store to install and update apps on Android, then there should be no problems. Not all alternative app stores are able to automatically update in the background or, in general, independently search and notify about the release of new versions. If you installed the application via an apk file (or a file with a different extension) and the applications or the game do not have a built-in update system, then you will have to update manually, and this is not so convenient. In addition, many may forget about updates altogether and not receive new features or security updates. The Obtainium app will help you organize updates from various sources. It will allow you to search for new versions of applications and install them in a single interface. The user will not need to search for applications in various stores or on official websites. App updates are supported from GitHub, GitLab, F-Droid, IzzyOnDroid, Mullvad, Signal, and SourceForge. At the heart of the work is the collection of data on application updates through RSS. The application displays if the version is newer or not, then downloads the file that you install. Algorithm for automated search and download of apk-files. There can be no question of any partial download of applications with the replacement of only updated components, which is available on Google Play (although not all applications and games also have it).
