Description
MT manager Android platform file management & reverse modification artifact Quick start After entering the MT Manager, the first thing you see are the left and right file list windows. Dual window operation When you copy files in other file managers, you generally need to copy first and then paste. In MT, files are copied directly from the current window to another window , without the step of pasting. The original dual-window operation mode displays two directories at the same time, combined with forward/backward/synchronization and other functions. Once you are familiar with it, it is more efficient than the traditional operation method. Sync function You may be thinking, if you want to copy the files of the current window to a folder in the current window, what should you do? In fact, you only need to use the synchronization function: After clicking the sync button, the other window will immediately synchronize with the current window, and then click to enter the target folder to perform the copy operation. After the copy is completed, you can also use the back function as in the animation to return the other window to the previous path. Multiple file selection If you want to copy multiple files, you need to use the multi-select function. Just slide any file left or right to enter the multi-select mode. If you want to select multiple consecutive files, you only need to slide the first and last files continuously as shown in the picture above. In addition, in multi-selection mode, you can also click the buttons at the bottom to select all, invert selection, and category selection . Bookmark function You can add commonly used paths and files to bookmarks. When needed, slide out the bookmarks from the bottom bar and click to jump directly. The following are added in MT version 2.14.3: If the input content /starts with , then the following content is a regular expression If the input content begins !/with , then the subsequent content is a regular expression and uses negative matching For example: Find files whose file names contain numbers : /\d; Find files whose file names do not contain numbers : !/\d. Path jump You can long press the return button to input and jump to the specified path. After seeing this, you can happily use MT to perform basic operations of file management. If this is your first time using MT, I suggest you read it a few times. I believe you will become more comfortable with it~ Filter function When there are too many files in the list, you can long press the sync button and enter keywords to quickly find the files you want. Multifunction It has built-in many powerful and easy-to-use functions, and is constantly being updated. You only need to install one MT to meet many functional needs. A must-have for gaming After more than ten years of update iteration and accumulation, MT has received many praises and has now become one of the must-have apps for many gaming enthusiasts and technology geeks ROOT related Under default settings, MT will automatically obtain root permissions when starting up, but this does not mean that root permissions are required to use MT. However, without root permissions, you will not be able to access or modify most system directories or files, such as the /data directory. And with the improvement of Android versions, more attention has been paid to file security and privacy. For example, access to the /sdcard/Android/data directory is restricted in Android 11. Although this restriction is currently circumvented in some ways, it is not It is guaranteed to remain valid in subsequent Android versions, and will only be accessible through root permissions. Related settings In the main settings, related to root are obtaining root permissions and customizing the su command . After enabling root permissions , MT will try to obtain root permissions when starting. If your phone is not rooted or you deny root access to MT, you can improve startup speed by turning off this setting. After changing this setting, you need to restart MT to take effect. The custom su command is used to configure the command to be called when obtaining root permissions. Usually the command is su , but you can also configure it yourself Mount read and write Earlier versions of MT had the manual mounting read and write function. This function has now been deleted and changed to automatic mounting. When modifying files in the read-only directory, it will automatically try to mount read and write. If the mount fails, a pop-up will appear. hint. Judgment authorization Under normal circumstances , if a blank file list appears when accessing the /data directory, it means that you already have root permissions. Even if you have root permissions, you may not be able to modify the /system directory files, and you will be prompted that the mount, read and write failed. This is caused by system limitations and does not mean that you do not have root permissions. Use a virtual machine If you want to access the /data directory to view some APP application data, but the real machine cannot be rooted, then you can install virtual machine software on the mobile phone, which generally has its own root function. Use with caution Modifying system files may result in loss of important data, system damage, or even inability to boot, so please do not modify or delete files whose purpose you do not know at will to avoid causing losses to you! If you want to mess around, you can do it in a virtual machine~ MT2 folder After MT is started, an MT2 folder will be created in the root directory of the internal storage to store part of the application data. This part of the data will remain on the phone after MT is uninstalled. If you do not want the MT2 folder to be created at the root of the internal storage, you can modify it in the settings:
